Verbal communication skills are the number one priority in the list of desirable candidate skills all around the world, and in almost every kind of job.

When speaking and listening ends, the understanding begins. By understanding, we mean reflecting upon the purpose of the communication process. Critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, all are the parts of this understanding. Understanding is the outcome of the communication process.

iii. Friendliness

When the understanding part is completed, and you need to convey your decisions to the other party, you have to rely on your speaking skills. Friendliness is an important aspect of speaking. Sometimes it can be difficult to accept your shortcomings, especially when you feel like you have given your 100%, but still receiving negative feedback. vi. Preciseness and clarity

Many people tend to beat around the bush a lot while conversing. While this is not a serious problem in social/ personal relations, in an official situation, this is really bad. When you are communicating with a person, first make a mental list of the points you want to convey to the other party, and stick to them. Maintaining clarity is also important for effectively communicating. Try not to send a mixed message to the second person. What you want to say should be clear to you and to them as well.

Non-Verbal Communication Skills:
